POP EVIL @ House of harley

Pop Evil in The House

Pop Evil headlined the second day of festivities at the Harley Davidson 120 Year Anniversary Homecoming Festival at the renowned House of Harley Davidson in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Thursday night. Coming on at 8, the outdoor venue packed with festival-goers, the band started their near two-hour set off with “Paranoid”, the second track on their latest album. The band stacked the middle of their set with a few tracks off their latest album, including the title track “Skeletons”, a few well-known classics, and sprinkled some deep tracks in the mix. Although the family-oriented festival environment discouraged moshing or crowd-surfing, Pop Evil kept their audience engaged with anecdotes from their years of touring. The band rounded out the set with some of their best-known tracks, playing “Walking Lions”, “100 in a 55”, “Torn to Pieces”, and “Trenches”, before finishing up with a more recent hit, “Breathe Again”.

While Pop Evil made a few stops in the midwest during the first leg of their tour, visiting The Rave in Milwaukee in April, honoring their Detroit roots with a stop in Royal Oak, Michigan and playing for bassist Joey “Chicago” Walser’s hometown of Chicago, this concert brought the band’s tour promoting their latest album Skeletons (released in March 2023) back to Milwaukee for a second show. Pop Evil will visit a few more midwest festivals and venues on their tour, including The Mid Summer Music Fest Rock Week in Menahga, Minnesota on July 20th, the Northern Lights Music Festival in Escanaba, Michigan July 21st, and a stop in Jefferson City, Missouri on July 23rd.
