NOTHING MORE @ The Factory

Featuring - Lacy Sturm, Dead Poet Society, Hyro the Hero, Post Profit

The Factory was the place to be this last Thursday night in Dallas as Nothing More made their first of three stops in Texas on their 2023 North American “Spirits” tour. Post Profit kicked off the night with a high-energy performance warming up the crowd with their blend of rock and alternative. Hyro the Hero followed them up and brought their dose of rap-rock with their singles “Bullet” and “Cheatcode” that got the moshers going.Dead Poet Society was up next, showcasing their alternative rock sound that didn’t keep the mosh pits going for long, but singles such as “intoodeep” had the entire Factory singing along to every word.

A late addition to the bill, Lacy Sturm took the stage, gracing the audience with her hauntingly beautiful vocals. Her performance was a poignant moment in the night, reminding everyone of the emotional depth that rock music can convey. Whether you are religious or not Lacy’s battle with depression and her ability to overcome it though finding God was truly moving.

Finally, Nothing More. The band's stage production was nothing short of spectacular, featuring intricate percussion setups and insane lighting elements that added another visual dimension to their performance. Nothing More's setlist included personal favorites such as “Jenny” “I’ll Be Ok”, “Tired of Winning” and “This is the Time(Ballast)”. A true highlight of the night was when the band brought out Lacy Sturm to sing her featured part in the song “Best Times”.

With a lineup that featured such talented opening acts like Post Profit, Hyro the Hero, Dead Poet Society, and Lacy Sturm, the evening was a celebration of diverse musical styles within the rock genre. Nothing More's headlining performance was a tour de force, proving yet again that they are one of the best live rock bands in the scene today.
